I asked if my piece could be paired with a specific painting and, when he agreed, I chose \u003ca href=\"https:\/\/www.racheldwan.com\/2019\" rel=\"noopener\" target=\"_blank\"\u003e\u003cem\u003eShadow Breaking\u003c\/em\u003e\u003c\/a\u003e by \u003ca href=\"https:\/\/artinres.com\/artists\/rachel-dwan\" rel=\"noopener\" target=\"_blank\"\u003eRachel Dwan\u003c\/a\u003e, a gorgeous abstract work, entirely in grey-scale, that, for me, evokes the play of light in water.
