Description
For brass quintet. Nocturne, flowing and hauntingly melodic, is a brief antiphonal work for brass quintet. The piece pairs off the two trumpets on one side, the trombone and horn on the other side, and the tuba plays along in the rear of the hall. Nocturne, was composed at the end of 1988, and presented as a New Year's gift to the Saturday Brass Quintet.
